Charl Schwartzel shot a flawless five-under-par 66 in the final round of the Madrid Masters, taking the title by three shots from his nearest competitor. The South African, who led since the halfway point, had been dogged by sickness and shoulder pains on his way to an overall 19-under 265 at the Club De Campo golf course. Two early birdies saw his overnight lead of one-shot cemented before another three after the turn saw Ricardo Gonzalez and Pablo Larrazabal challenges disappear
